Kalasha International Film & TV Awards will celebrate 10 years of awarding excellence this year. This year, the event shall set new benchmarks for future film-makers and encourage the expansion of the industry. Kenya Film Commission hopes to encourage a healthy level of competition amongst film makers which will lead to higher levels of good practice within the industry. The purpose of this event is to fete Kenyan stars, promote Kenya & its diverse locations, attract international filmmakers to film in Kenya and create a business-to-business platform for various stakeholders.
